![]() I work in customer service and I could tell he didnt want to be there. One of the whiskeys we tasted costed $10 which we probably would not have tried had we had known which is probably why they didnt tell us. I have been to better ones locally in the Swan Valley. From the minute we came in, we were told to go outside and have a look at the distillery which was actually not that great. I knew we would have to pay for tastings but they dont actually tell you or list it it ANY WHERE in the store. The customer service provided by the sales rep was not great. My bf was looking forward to checking this place out but unfortunately, we had the worst experience and it actually ruined the rest of our day for us. I will continue to shop here but the establishment needs to educate its people on how to serve, across all human forms. There is a level of toxic customer service, towards people of colour, I would confidently say. I spoke to the lady who put through my order and she equally couldn't help out. I was engaging this man in a convo to check if I could taste other whiskeys besides the ones I had just bought, and he just told me to leave. At that point, I had already picked 3 bottles (which aint cheap) and I was ready to buy. How about if I tried the other ones, maybe I would be looking at those next time I came around Albany (which is very often, for business) and he just told me to leave if I wasn't buying anything from the store. I was engaging in a convo with him, about not tasting any of the whiskeys I had bought because I was going to drink them anyway. ![]() I visited the shop on 2/12/22 around 4:30PM and had the most unpleasant customer service experience from the bearded site manager.
